Happy 5 weeks Abby!

Abby is five weeks old and is becoming more and more alert by the day! We've been blessed to have pretty good weather this week so our routine is now including walks every day and sitting outside on the patio.

In other news, Abby has had two nights of great sleep in a row! On Friday night, she slept from 10:30 pm - 9:30 am with only two night feedings and last night (Saturday), she slept from 9:30 pm - 9:30 am with a "dream feed" (I fed her while she was sleeping) at 11:30 pm then she went until 5:45 am for her next feed! Pure heaven! Last Monday, Abby had her one month appointment. She's doing great and the pediatrician continues to be impressed with how quickly she is meeting milestones. She weighed in at 10 lbs, 6 oz (50 percentile), 22 inches (50 percentile) and her head circumference was also in the 50th percentile. Right on track! On Monday, we saw a different doctor in the practice who said that we were now OK to take her out in public as long as it wasn't too crowded and we kept her contained. So, this has been a big week for Abby as she took her first trip to Target, Sam's Club, the grocery store, and to a couple of graduation parties this weekend!

In the next post are some videos that I captured this week. Each time I break out the video camera, she refuses to roll over, but you can at least see her get close to being on her side in the video below. Also, you can watch her in her swing now that she has discovered the mobile. Also, in this post, I have included some pictures from this week.
