Yesterday, Kevin and I worked on cleaning out Abby's closet and drawers of things that she no longer uses or no longer wears. It was a lot sadder for me than I expected. As we sorted out what we wanted to keep for the next Kroner baby, I thought back on all of the things that Abby has learned to do in the past 11 weeks. I can't believe how fast it's going.
A few milestones that Abby has already reached. She can:
- Hold her head up for 5-10 minutes at a time during tummy time before she gets frusterated. She can also turn her head from side to side (90 degrees).
- Do mini push-ups for multiple minutes at a time
- Put both hands together
- Stare at her hands for periods of time
- Grab at toys in her activity mat
- Carry on a conversation of "coos" and gargles
- Recognize mom and dad (and Willow!)
- Hold head steady when put into sitting position
- Blow bubbles
- Put hands in mouth (to the point that sometimes she gags!)
- Roll over from tummy to back
I can't believe it's going so fast. In no time she'll be crawling, going to school, graduating, getting married, having her own baby girl.........
