I'll walk you through our trial runs of daycare later this weekend, but first, an update from today's events.
Last night, Abby woke up every hour fussing and wailing. She'd quickly go back to sleep after a few minutes of cuddling and a pacifier, but it was clear that my sweet baby, who consistently sleeps 10-11 hours a night straight, was uncomfortable.
Fast forward to this morning, she was clearly a little bit stuffed up and had a runny nose. No fever when we checked so I figured it was a cold.
Had her 4-month checkup at noon and the doctor determined that she was at the start of an ear infection (after having a 100.2 fever when taken at the doctor's office). So, she delayed her 4-month old shots (which poor Kevin is going to have to do solo since I'll be at work) for another two weeks and put her on antibodics.
Abby's not eating a whole lot, but otherwise is our normal happy baby. Dr. thinks she should be up and normal by the day (though the antibodtics are for 2 weeks).
Moral of the story? You start daycare and you start getting sick. Urgh.
