Kevin and I have joked throughout this football season that perhaps when the doctor said to avoid high levels of stress, he meant to stop watching the Bengals games. As you may know, Kevin and I are faithful Bengals fans - through and through. We pony up way too much money each year for our season tickets, I call into those "special conference calls" for fans (which ironically seem to concide with when the Bengals need to sell out a football game), and the first time we bought for baby, before Baby Bingo was even a reality, was a Bengals pacifier.
So when we found out we were pregnant, we decided to take a hard look at what games we were really going to want to go and which ones we could cut. Afterall, looking down the road, I doubt at 6 months pregnant, I'll want to be outside in 25 degree weather and snow, when I could be curled up in our "man cave" downstairs watching on a 60 inch big screen TV.
Three games left that we're going to. Bears game (today), Ravens (because that'll be important for our divisional record), and Lions (because I refused to go 2 months without going to a game). Sadly, no Texas last week, Browns over Thanksgiving, or Chiefs in late December (well, not really too sad about that one....)
Fingers crossed for a quick, Bengals win today. None of this, "it comes down to the last minute" mess that has been kicking my heartrate up and I'm sure Baby Bingo's at the same time.
And if we win decisively by 24 points or more, I may just consider "Ocho Cinco Kroner" as a suitable baby name.
Who Dey!
