Apologizes for the lack of a blog entry for a few weeks. It's been a busy time at work and I was sick for awhile during that time. I sadly learned that pregnancy means sucking it up while sick because there aren't alot of medicines that you can take while pregnant. Luckily it was just a sinus infection and went away after a few days.
We had a Dr. Appt last Friday. Nothing too eventful, but the dr this time (we go to a group practice so it's the luck of the draw) was really nice so I'm hoping we get lucky and get her for the delivery. Baby Bingo's heartbeat was 150 - nice and solid for this stage. I asked alot of questions. Answers included "yes, you can eat all the turkey you want at Thanksgiving", "it's normal to break out like a 15 year old boy", "yes, you might have thought you felt the baby kick, though it might have been gas". Overall, a good visit and put my mind at ease. (and no... I don't think it turned out to be a kick)
Ok - Quick update on Bingo. Since I last posted, Bingo has gone from an Orange/baseball to a Avocado/Stud Finder to currently an onion/hockey puck. Baby weighs approximately 6 ounces and is about 5 inches long. The skeleton is hardening, and cartilage is changing to bone, and fat is starting to accumulate. As well, the baby now has distinct fingerprints! So cool...
Off to bed. Looking forward to seeing the family in Greenville this weekend and counting the days until December 18th when our "big ultrasound" is! We'll find out then what gender Baby Bingo is! Keep voting for your guesses.
You have inspired me to write more about this journey on my blog. Thanks! I needed that kick!
