It's about 4 am and after a long night with very little sleep, I'm finally getting up and moving! I ended up sending Kevin to his mom and dad's last night so that at least one of us would get a good night sleep and they only live five minutes from the hospital in case I needed him here. He's currently on his way back and I can't wait to get started on the busy day we have ahead of us!
At six am, 12 hours after they started the cervadil which I'm not sure helped soften my cervix, but definitely helped me cramp and use the restroom all night, they will remove the medicine. I'll then get to eat a light breakfast and take a quick shower before they hook up the piton. Last time, with Abby, it took 22 hours after pitocin was started... Let's hope this goes quicker!
