The past two days have been a whirlwind of pure bliss, complete exhaustion, and lots of introducing Abby to the world. As of right now (12 pm), Abby is still checked into the hospital, as she is having some problems with "output" being low so they are waiting until she blesses us with more "output" (who would have ever thought that new parents could be praying to change a diaper!) I was discharged as of this morning at 6 am, which really was a technicality used by the hospital so that Abby and I get a home visit included with our insurance within the next few days (evidently I am entitled to one if I'm checked out within 48 hours of birth). Other than having to get my own food, it's business as usual in our room. Just laying in bed now, staring at my little one, as she finishes up her nap that started around 10 and listening to my other love snoring from the couch :) We're hoping that we get discharged soon - Abby is ready to meet her big sister Willow!
We have so many more pictures to share, but here is a teaser from the past few days (as she starts to stir...)
