The past few days have been... well... boring. :) Still pregnant, she's officially 4 days late (or 2 days from her original due date!)
No progress still - she's definitely taking her time to get ready to meet the world which is teaching her parents a lesson in patience. To recap the past few days...
On Saturday, Kevin and I had our dinner of Jalapenos, which turned out not materialize AT ALL! Afterwards, we went over to our next door neighbors house to watch the Mayweather / Mosley fight. It was nice to be around friends and get my mind off things by watching people beat each other up :) I started to have some contractions around midnight, but they never materialized and ended up fading away after I laid down to sleep.
On Sunday, we went to church and watch some ADORABLE children get their first communion. Afterwards, we went and talked with Father Jan who gave us a lovely blessing for a healthy labor and delivery. It really helped put my mind at ease and raise up all of my concerns about being late, having a hard delivery, etc up to the Lord. It's in his hands - this is ultimately his child.
We went to a nice brunch afterwards and then really just sat around all day. Which I hear will be a rarity soon so it was nice to relax.
