Infant Tub
Abby LOVES her bath and I think alot of it has to do with the fact that she's so comfortable in the infant tub that we purchased. It fits perfectly in our sink, has a little seat for her cute little rear end, and drains well out of the bottom.

Bottles
Since we weened from nursing at two months, we've been exclusively bottle feeding Abby. We received a recommendation for the Playtex Ventaire bottles and I have to say, that they have been amazing! The ventaliation holes minimize extra air in the bottle, reducing the amount of gas that Abby takes in. We started with the slow nipples, but quickly had to upgrade. The fast nipples are still too fast so we found that the playtex drop-in medium nipples fit perfectly. Additionally, I recommend that a new mom gets 4-6 9 oz bottles and doesn't bother with the 6 oz bottles. It really only fits 5 ounces once mixed and Abby is already at 6 ozs for each feeding. Reviews say they leak sometimes, but I think it's probably user error in putting the bottles back together. We haven't had any issues.

Swaddler
I couldn't live with out my miracle blanket (thanks Aunt Courtney!) Yes, its like Abby's wearing a baby straight jacket, but it was also recommended by our pediatrician until Abby's six months old and it helps her get all snuggled for bed. I'm a firm believer that the miracle blanket is responsible for my amazing sleeper (10-11 hours each night in a row!) We will probably keep her fully wrapped until four months then start a month with her legs out then finally a month with only one arm wrapped up.

THANK GOODNESS I have you to help me with all these things! :) Ryan said you and I can do my registry together. "Anything to keep me from having to spend hours in the baby store" he said. Ha.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree! Thanks for the recommendations! bruce and I just went to BabiesRUs for the first time last Saturday. Horror! So many options, and besides that, once you figure out what you really need, how many of each do you need? That is were I got confused. We did invest in a book called Baby Bargins and it has been a life saver! Hey, keep the recommendations coming sister! I have a ways to go!
