Danielle, a friend from high school, is now living in Charlotte and was crossing the street with some friends last Saturday night when the three of them were hit by a 20-year old who was driving drunk (this was also her 2nd drunk driving charge). The two boys Danielle were with escaped with slight injuries but Danielle was thrown over 100 feet. She's still in fair condition at the hospital with very serious leg injuries and is expected to require a wheelchair for at least 6 months while she recuperates. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and we're glad God was watching over her to make sure that she is still here.
